Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or university in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, write and interpret general business periodocals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
Ability to effectively present information to peers and management.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Knowledge of statistical process control math is required.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Must have knowledge of Database software; Design software; Internet software, MS Office software to include Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
