Bachelor's degree in Engineering and internship, co-op, apprenticeship, or hands-on technical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Or a Technical degree (e.g., machining, manufacturing, or similar) and 7 years of relevant experience.
Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance
Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical repairs/modifications: helicoil/tap work, bearing swaging, pressing, basic machining, and fixture assembly.
Proficiency with hand and power tools and safe use of shop equipment (presses, drill presses, vertical mills, crimpers, torque tools).
Comfortable in both shop/floor and lab environments; able to lift and maneuver fixtures and assemblies.
Strong troubleshooting aptitude and ability to rapidly diagnose assembly/process issues with technicians.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for documentation and handoffs.
Ability to work independently and prioritize competing requests in a fast-paced setting.
Moderate physical activity: lifting fixtures, standing for extended periods, operating shop tools, occasional exposure to hydraulic fluids and electrical test setups.
