Ability to climb ladders and narrow stairs safely.
Will accept 10 years' relevant experience & Highschool Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent in lieu of Associates Degree.
Equipment listed below may be used as needed to assist in these Required Competencies: Forklift, scissor lift, all shop equipment, power tools, various welders, hoists.
Company provides CPR training/certification - must be willing abd able to comply.
Five (5) plus years of industrial plant maintenance experience required, working in a particular craft or multi-craftposition.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, as required.
May be expected to move, carry and lift approximately 70 pounds.
Demonstrated proficiency in performing advanced maintenance functions in a safe manner, including but not limited to the following: Industrial electronics, welding, pipe fitting, carpentry, shop machine operation, pump repair, boiler repair, HVAC. (May be either from education or experience)
Associates degree in Industrial Technology or Industrial Maintenance required
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, safety warning labels, machine instruction manuals andschematics.
Ability to access all parts of all production equipment, including, but not limited to the following: Confinedspaces; ceiling mounted equipment; equipment in pits, machines that must be climbed, crawled under, orotherwise entered with limited access.
May be expected to climb heights of approximately 30 feet.
Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Basic math, writing and data entry skills.
Must be able to perform basic rescue and life-saving functions when serving as safety backup.
