Must possess a thorough working knowledge of power plant machinery and equipment operation.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of safe rigging methods for work within the scope of this job.
Must possess knowledge of and be able to utilize required corporate databases.
Must have a thorough knowledge of the function of the electrical equipment and machinery installed in the plants.
Must have the ability to receive and pass on orders and instructions in such a manner that will maintain safety and promote harmony, cooperation and satisfactory work results from assigned employees and co-workers.
Must have at least a two-year technical degree in related field from an accredited school or the equivalent in education, training and experience.
Must have a thorough knowledge of the maintenance, repair, construction and safety practices of the departments.
Willingness to work shifts and overtime.
Must meet the Company's requirements as to General Qualifications in accordance with the Job Manual
Must have a thorough working knowledge of applied electricity and electronics, including AC and DC electrical circuits, machinery, measurements and calculations.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license required to do work and must meet the Company's driving requirements.
Must be able to work from complex, detailed drawings, circuit diagrams, specifications, and blueprints.
Must know the names of individual parts of equipment and be able to identify them in the stores supply.
Must be able to work at high elevations and in restricted or confined spaces. Must be able to work out of scaffolding, ladders, bucket trucks, manlifts, etc.
Must be knowledgeable in electrical layout, construction, functions and operations of electrical equipment and circuit connections.
