Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial machinery assembly, or a related manufacturing role required
Forklift operation experience required
Material handling experience required
Ability to pass a drug screen
Background check
Must be able to read assembly blueprints in English format
Must be willing and able to work overtime and occasional weekends as required
Ability to solve practical problems and work with limited standardization
Working knowledge of shop safety practices
Understanding of quality assurance concepts, typically acquired through in-house training
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Adaptability and willingness to be cross trained
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Comfortable working in a factory environment with temperature variations
Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing/pulling, and repetitive movements for up to 12 hours per day
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Certification and/or License – Water/Wastewater System Operator (specific for location requirements) or the ability to achieve any appropriate license(s) within 12 months, to the extent required by state regulations
Forklift certification
1 to 3 years of plant operations/manufacturing experience coupled with the knowledge of and/or aptitude to perform wastewater duties
1 to 3 years of wastewater related experience preferred
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Knowledge of wastewater treatment systems
General microbiological and chemistry skills
General maintenance skills
Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems
Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills)
