Night Shift is a 48 hour week
Need to be able to read metric tapes
Assist others as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
Necessary to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel
Weekend Shift is a 36-Hour Work Week Paid for 40 Hours
Agile fingers and thumbs on both hands
High School diploma or GED
General laborers employed at Veritas Steel's Palatka location are responsible for grinding, drilling, shop clean-up, and miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Shop Supervisor
Adhere to safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and surrounding coworkers
Double Time After 50 hrs. Worked!
Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
Maintain shop, equipment, tools, vehicles, etc. for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safety
Perform other related duties as assigned
Able to lift 40 pounds and carry 30 pounds
Coordinate with shop supervisor and other personnel for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently, on time, and with no defects
Welding experience is preferred
Uses proper safety equipment to ensure surfaces are adequately prepared for all operations
Must be able to push /move objects up to 50 lbs. of force
Pulling requirements up to 122 lbs. of force
Friday through Sunday, 5 am- 5 pm
Monday- Thursday 4:30 PM to 5 AM
Must have a good range of motion when reaching forward, shoulder to overhead, and bending
