Competent at basic dimensional measuring an able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.
Demonstrated competency in basic shop math.
Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawings aids.
Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance.
Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired.
Must possess good mechanical ability and the ability to perform basic calculations to operate welding and fabricating machines.
Demonstrates ability to operate a welder, grinder, bandsaw, ironworker, overhead crane, torch, measuring devices and a variety of hand and power tools.
Prior work record indicating dependability and conscientiousness.
Ability to work will in a fast paced environment to meet team expectations.
Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.
Must have a basic understanding of computers.
High school diploma or GED with one year of trades training and at least one year of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
