One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift license required in some departments.
Must be able to obtain within three (3) months.
Knowledge of CNC software and the ability to use a PC.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos (i.e. safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, shop-floor paperwork, and procedure manuals).
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to read a scale and vernier calipers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate and percent and interpret bar graphs.
