Required: Previous crane and lift maintenance experience is required.
Clean driving record.
Minimum 3-5 years' work experience as a crane technician.
Overhead crane experience required, and familiarity and exposure to operating cranes and hoists a plus.
Mechanical and electrical skills ideally learned from a trade school.
Ability to work overtime.
Demonstrated positive attendance record.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time.
Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
Must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Proficiency in reading and understanding work instructions, manuals, and schematics.
Ability to read and execute fabrication drawings.
Ability to manage time to a schedule and accountable for reporting per job.
Ability to properly maintain and perform basic troubleshooting on equipment.
Welding aptitude would be a benefit, not required.
Travel: Travel required within the greater Jackson/Cape region; Overnight trips possible (limited); Per diem provided.
