Ability to read a ruler accurately
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Previous experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks

Three years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker.
Completion of a high quality industrial based Tool & Die Maker Apprenticeship program. Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT) Certified Apprenticeship programs are typically 8,000 hours in duration.
Completion of a high quality industrial based Tool & Die Maker Training program. These programs should be typically 6,000 - 8,000 hours in duration and be similar in curriculum and standards as 2 above.
To read and interpret complex blueprints and sketches; to use shop mathematics, including trigonometry.
To work to exacting tolerances.
To manually pull, push or lift over 25 lbs.
