Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Polymerization Expertise
Architectural Experience: Direct experience synthesizing hyperbranched and bottlebrush polymers. Familiarity with the unique steric challenges
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the structure-property relationships in non-linear polymers, particularly regarding zero-entanglement networks and "super-soft" elastomers
Familiarity with the synthesis of click chemistry
Knowledge of medical-grade polymer requirements and biocompatibility standards
Ability to interpret complex analytical data and translate findings into development strategies
Firm understanding of research methods, protocols, procedures, techniques, and equipment
Experience with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
Proficient computer skills especially with Microsoft Office applications
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Works well in a collaborative and team-oriented environment
Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively
Full-time on-site position; this is not a remote position
Candidate must have ability to maintain punctual daily in-person attendance
