High school diploma or GED equivalent
Low to moderate degree of mechanical, technical, and/or analytic knowledge and experience
Ability to operate hand tools and light power tools
Ability to work from mechanical drawings and basic blueprints
Wear required PPE and report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately
Employee will lift 1-30 pounds intermittently
May have to lift documents/work materials up to 40 pounds in weight
Employee will have to be able to walk to a variety of primary work locations
Employee will need manual (hand) dexterity to assemble/repair small parts for long periods of time
Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members at all levels within a diverse workforce
Employee will be in a manufacturing environment where they may work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to vibration
Employee will be exposed to elevated levels of noise on the plant floor

Possess the skill and ability to assemble manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products.
Must be equipped with all the required tools to perform the functions of their job.
Able to operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses and power tools.
Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, sitting and bending, as well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently.
Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts.
Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.
