Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biological Science or related field required.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
Minimum five (5) years leading and managing teams within the food manufacturing industry required.
Food facility sanitation technical knowledge.
Experience in a food industry plant environment with an understanding of manufacturing processes.
Understanding of Sanitary Design for food manufacturing equipment.
Tactical knowledge and application of food safety principles (ex. Regulatory, PCQI, HACCP, SQF, GMPs, food microbiology).
Ability to work effectively, lead by example and coach others within a team-based high performing organization.
Maintain updated knowledge and understanding of federal and state laws, regulations, procedures, and standards.
