Must pass a written and hands‑on welding assessment
Perform MIG, TIG, and resistance welding operations
3 or more welding processes proficiently within department standards
Routinely lift up to 40 lbs.
Stand for extended periods with frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting
Strong manual dexterity required
Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Steel‑toed boots required (must be provided by the worker and worn during interviews and orientation)
Must pass safety requirements in PPE and safety standards
