Driver's License with clean driving record preferred
Must be insurable with Icy Strait Point (DUI, DWI, negligent or reckless driving citations within the past 5 years is uninsurable)
Pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion of drug and alcohol testing
Must be able to learn a Tlingit Introduction, knowledge, or willingness to learn about Tlingit culture
Must pass pre-employment drug testing as well as random drug testing throughout the season
Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours/day w/minimal breaks. Participate in all required training
Able to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and walk 5+ miles daily
Willing to live in a remote, rural community
Comfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to and from a remote setting
Able to walk and drive on gravel roads in inclement weather
