Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour
Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd shift
Lens Processing: Operate machinery to surface, polish, and edge lenses according to patient-specific prescriptions
Blocking & Taping: Secure blocks to lenses using automated equipment and apply protective tape as required
Coating & Tinting: Load and operate coating machines and apply lens tints per order specifications
Quality Inspection: Conduct optical and cosmetic inspections of lenses and frames to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
Frame Assembly: Insert lenses into frames, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and finish
Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
Experience: Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in optical manufacturing or a production environment is a plus
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, work with small and delicate components, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
