Possession of a valid Real ID is a requirement for this position
Minimum of 3 years of commercial, institutional, industrial, or healthcare carpentry experience
Experience constructing, repairing, and modifying framing, walls, doors, windows, staircases, trim, cabinetry, trusses, and structural components
Experience with drywall installation and repair, metal stud framing, and suspended (drop) ceiling systems
Knowledge of concrete and basic masonry construction techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications
Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment common to the carpentry trade
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally
Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and at elevated heights
Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physically demanding work for extended periods, including standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching
Ability to work in hot environments and around dust, machinery, chemicals, and other occupational hazards
Ability to wear an OSHA-approved respirator when required and successfully complete required fit testing
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, eye protection, hearing protection, and approved face protection
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation; background check extends past 7 years

Visual Portfolio: Must provide a portfolio showcasing high-quality photos of recently completed commercial projects
