High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum age of 18 years
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Certification in CPR and First Aid
Ability to obtain a security guard license as required by the state or municipality
Physical fitness to walk, stand, and sometimes run during patrols
Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Familiarity with radio or communication devices
Ability to interact professionally with the public and de-escalate tense situations
Knowledge of local laws, ordinances, and regulations
Commitment to non-discriminatory practices and cultural sensitivity
Be a citizen of the United States or a Resident Alien
Be at least 18 years of age
Be of good moral character and temperate habits
No prior revocation of Security Registration or License
