Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Strong troubleshooting skills necessary, with the ability to make informed decisions.

Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints
Experience using hand and power tools
Heavy lifting required (up to 50 lbs)
Lift truck operator experience recommended
Ability to understand and work from drawings, order / route sheets, schedules, written, and verbal instructions
Move materials in the performance of duties using pallet jack, lift truck or crane (if PIT qualified) as necessary
Install and check safety devices as needed for specific jobs
Report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to supervisor or other appropriate resources
Observe and adhere to all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition
Set up and operate heavy-duty power equipment to bend, form, stretch and straighten a variety of products / materials such as plates, extrusions, structural shapes, etc. as specified by blueprints, layout, and templates
Perform duties required to assist setup and operate multiple automatic and/or multi-slide equipment perform simultaneous processes for a variety of products
Competent use micrometers, calipers, scales, tape measures, calculators and fixed gauges to check work in process and ensure adherence to specifications
