High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years minimum experience as a maintenance mechanic in metal manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice ISO9001 standards for plastics manufacturing
Specific welding experience (various types) preferred but not required
Experience with and ability to use all types of welding, cutting, machine, and hand tools preferred
Experience in high-speed packaging, welding, and mechanical power transmission preferred
Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and off shifts as required
Must participate in on-call program and may be required to work additional hours on off shift due to on-call program
Able to familiarize yourself with CMMS system and log labor/parts according to established expectations
Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work in a noisy environment and wear hearing protection
Must follow safety policies and procedures, PPE requirements
