5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.).
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS);
Ability to interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.
Flexibility to work off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
Regular travel to regional facilities may be required (up to 25%).
The FM is on call 24/7 for all emergencies on the DC property.
Must be available 24/7 to support operations.
Must be on call 24/7 and available to work flexible hours, weekends, nights, and holidays, as required by business needs. This includes working extended periods during business-critical needs.
Frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds; may occasionally lift heavier or awkward items over 50 pounds with assistance.
Perform repetitive computer-related tasks such as data entry and typing.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, twist, and lift for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours daily).
Frequently walk on hard surfaces within various operational areas.
Work is primarily conducted indoors in a comfortable environment, with occasional exposure to fluctuating temperatures, including cold environments as low as -20°F.
Must be able to wear appropriate PPE, including but not limited to steel-toed footwear, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and insulated clothing.
