Associates degree in an Engineering Field (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) or a High School diploma and 2 years technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of LEAN and ergonomic concepts, regarding reach, positioning, and placement of hand, wrist, and arm during assembly processes
Ability to understand and interpret basic written technical information.
Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools (i.e. Drill/Drivers, Track Saw) as well as operate horizontal and vertical band saw, drill press, and miter saw.
Ability to read and understand a basic tape measure - metric and standard.
Demonstrates safe work practices.
Regular physical activity, including lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, climbing ladders, using lifts, and working in confined spaces.
Be quality and precision-driven, and able to follow all quality and safety requirements.
Ability to use independent judgement to design, construct and test structures to support manufacturing operations.
