Quality Control Technician
Location: North Austin, TX 78753
Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay: $21.00/hour
Inspect shoes at various stages of production (including pre- and post-finish) to ensure visual and structural quality
Check for consistency in patterns, finish, and overall product appearance
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while identifying opportunities for improvement
Document findings, track recurring issues, and maintain clear and organized quality control logs
Handle rejected pairs by documenting issues, reporting findings, and supporting resolution efforts
Share feedback and insights with the product team to support continuous improvement
Work closely with production teams to identify and prevent defects early in the process
Safety-minded with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Detail-oriented with the ability to spot small inconsistencies others may miss
Comfortable maintaining organized logs and communicating observations clearly
Reliable, proactive, and works well in a team environment
Previous experience in inspection, quality checking, or hands-on production (formal or informal such as garments, food handling, or product sorting)
Based in Austin, TX or nearby
Full training provided from day one—no prior industry experience required
