Environmental Health & Safety Specialist - Bilingual Spanish

Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science or a certificate in Health and Safety or an equivalent education and experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of Environment, Health and Safety experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of current OSHA and EPA laws and regulations.
Strong knowledge of state Environmental laws and regulations.
Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
Effective people skills, including negotiation and ability to influence without authority.
Inductive reasoning skills to create workplace safety resolutions.
Ability to identify developmental needs of employees and to provide coaching, mentoring, and other help.
Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to safety.
Politically and culturally sensitive.
Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments, local and government safety agencies.
Must be available for 1st Shift Hours (Mon – Fri: 7AM-4PM/7:30AM-4:30PM/8AM-5PM) or Swing shift (10 am – 6 pm/11am-7pm/12PM – 8PM/1PM-9PM)
Must be available for a rotating On-Call schedule
Able to work in office, production, and outside conditions as needed
