Minimum of one year of 911 dispatch experience (or equivalent).
High School graduate or equivalent.
Read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
Capable of exercising sound judgment and making immediate, decisive actions during high-stress emergency and routine non-emergency scenarios.
Capable of making immediate corrections to dispatchers during active operations.
Prepare clear and factually accurate reports.
Have the ability of hearing, eyesight, and finger/hand usage for operations, be of good health and mentally alert.
Must be able to complete a 90-day training course held Monday-Friday 0800-1600.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
This position is considered essential employees, you must report for duty, remain on duty during inclement weather, declared emergencies, and/or elevated FPCON levels unless otherwise directed.
*****This is a Part-Time position*****
Mid Shift: 12 a.m. – 8 a.m. (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday)
Must be available at all times should an emergency occur.
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Lead Alarm Monitor : $20.14 per hour.
Pay commensurate with experience.
