Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Materials Engineering or related field from a four-year college or university
2 to 5 years of project engineering experience
Ability to read and interpret complex documents such as blueprints, shop orders, work plans, and short correspondence
Ability to write standard reports and documentation
Ability to operate various equipment to include various precision measuring devices and lifting devices
Should be knowledgeable and/or familiar with applicable ISO/TS and quality system requirements and policies

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment as a quality engineer or equivalent
Demonstrated working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 13485 standards is required
Working knowledge and comprehension of quality management systems, measuring techniques, tools and equipment
ASQ CMQ/OE, CQE or CQA certification highly desirable
AS9100, AS9102 and ISO 14001 environment is strongly desirable
A Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, and/or a combination of education and experience is required
Knowledge of Statistical Process Controls (SPC), implementation and reporting
Familiarity with inspection practices and solder knowledge
Experience in a PCBA low volume high mix or PCBA NPI desired
