SolidWorks or other CAD software proficiency required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required
Broad knowledge of applied Engineering principles in electrical or mechanical disciplines
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Strong thermodynamics background preferred – especially with refrigeration or heat recovery systems
Ability to travel independently. Travel is infrequent and less than 10%
Detail-oriented, ability to plan, organize, set priorities and manage multiple projects
5 years or more of industry experience, preferably related to commercial air handling products
BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required

Physical: Walk over various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment. Safely use weight-bearing equipment (up to 345 lbs) and lift up to 75 lbs. Climb ladders up to 32 feet and work in confined spaces and at heights. Operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments. Work with small components and wires. Work outdoors for extended periods in any season and inclement weather.
Safe driving record within company standards required.
Technical skills: Proficiency in using computers and software applications. Competent in using hand tools.
Abilities: Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability.
