High School-Grad equivalent of general diploma with 2+ years hands on inspection experience
Process associated documents as required and specified
Basic computer knowledge
Perform all tasks as assigned accurately with attention to detail per drawings, specifications, or other operational instructions
Maintain work areas and equipment in neat and orderly manner
Locating dimensional specification in the overhaul engine manuals
Review and interpret process sheets /routings, operating instructions, and specifications
Maintain accurate and complete inspection records in Epicor
This position is responsible for determining airworthiness
Basic mathematical comprehension
Inspect bearings for conformance to specification and washing bearings, operation of sound test equipment and verification of work completed by others
Inspect parts: Visual, dimensional and sound test
Verifying proper buy-off of previous operations on job traveler
Interpret Bearing Repair Engine Manuals
Use of calibrated measuring equipment while performing Dimensional Inspection
Documenting and filling out rejection tags Reject review
Utilizing appropriate bearing cleaning methods as stated in work instructions (solvent spray wash and/or alkaline soak)

Level II qualification and certification in accordance with American Society for Nondestructive Testing requirements in the Visual Testing method or equivalent
Experience referencing engineering drawings and specifications as well as using inspection equipment
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite to maintain records
Ability to utilize precision inspection equipment which includes specialized software
Flexibility to start working on day shift for training and qualification and possibly transition to swing shift
Candidate may need to access equipment pits, work platforms, cat walks, roofs and similar areas by ladder
In compliance with requirements for the American Society for Nondestructive Testing standards
Commitment to safety
Walk several miles per day
Ability to stand for a minimum of two hours and lift up to 50lbs
