Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control system documentation, including P&IDs;, electrical single-line drawings, loop drawings, cable routing diagrams, and machine layouts.
Proficiency using computers to document maintenance activities, manage work orders, and communicate effectively.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment, including power tools, lifts, forklifts, and other shop machinery.

Two-year degree in a Technical Field, required.
Must be able to follow a 24/7 rotating shift schedule to include nights / weekends and holidays.
Must pass pre-employment testing (e.g. PSP System Operator/Dispatcher Test, Edison Electric Institute POSS/MCI test).
Be able to complete an 8 to 12 month on the job training program which culminates with NERC/PJM Certification
