Welding aptitude would be a benefit
Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks
Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed
Extensive electrical experience is required
Overhead crane maintenance experience
Inspect overhead industrial cranes, hoists, and associated equipment
PLC troubleshooting and programming is also necessary
Minimum 5 years' work experience as an industrial maintenance technician
Frequently exposed to heat, cold, noise and heights
Must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment
Experience with 208V, 240V, 277V, and 480V 3 Phase power is required at a minimum
Ability to work independently, as required
Ability to work overtime
This is not an entry level, training opportunity
Electrical knowledge working with, a minimum of, 3 Phase - 480V, Industrial Electric Service, performing voltage conversions, working with capacitors and transformer connections
Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, crane controls, hoists and drives
Strong Mechanical and Electrical skills from trade school or hands on experience required
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to frequently walk, climb, kneel, bend, reach overhead, push, pull, and use a ladder or stool
Ability to work in outside conditions during all seasons
Proper use of a man lift during service
Extensive industrial electrical and mechanical experience
Overhead crane experience at some level is required
Demonstrated positive attendance record
