Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation
Ensures all work performed meets required safety codes and is properly inspected
Typically requires an Electrician's license granted by state
Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
May need to stand for long periods of time
Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
Replaces conduit, wiring and circuit breakers as needed
Inspects, repairs, installs, and maintains electrical systems, machinery, and equipment
Uses a variety of tools and equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment
This position is Safety-Sensitive
Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required
Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 1-2 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
