A minimum of 5-7 years in quality inspection/machining (final, source and in process inspection) working in a manufacturing environment
Must have working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes and other measuring tools
High School or Technical School Diploma or equivalent.

Ability to apply geometry and trigonometry skills to solve problems and calibrate equipment

Able to read and understand engineering drawings, diagrams and specifications.

7 or more years' experience in mechanical inspection with focus on aerospace and manufacturing environment
Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills
The Q.A. Inspector must be able to read drawing and specifications, understand and follow written procedures and recognize the importance of compliance with NAT's quality requirements
Clear communication (oral and written) skills
Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
Minimum experience level required More than 8 years
Able to document findings and fill out First Article Reports (FAI's) using the AS9102 forms
Able to inspect parts using gauges, scales, micrometers, calipers, height gauges and other hand tools
The Q.A. Inspector must exhibit a technical aptitude
Work independently with little supervision
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements while maintaining NAT's high-quality standards
