The ability to efficiently obtain quality images of the heart and the correct views to help the interpreting physician diagnose the problem
Accuracy is of critical importance in this position
Membership in an echocardiography society or association is required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification required
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) license through either ARDMS as Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 2 years of start date
