Must have current California State Registered Veterinary Technician License
Must have graduated from an accredited school of veterinary science technology (2 or 4 year program) or the equivalent as determined by the California State Education Department
Minimum five years experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician in small animal medicine and surgery
Minimum two years people management experience
Must be willing and comfortable learning to drive our 37' Mobile Clinics (training provided by ASPCA) within 6 months of hire
Must provide a valid driver's license upon hire
Must pass a motor vehicle history check demonstrating a safe driving history
Must pass a Department of Transportation Medical Exam
Must be able to lift and carry 40-plus pounds repeatedly throughout the day with assistance
Must possess the ability to work standing for 10 or more hours
