Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, law, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of compliance and/or risk management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
BSACS or CUCE certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
Strong knowledge of financial institution laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, including BSA/AML, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, FACTA/Identity Theft Prevention, Fair Credit laws, fraud prevention and mitigation, and other applicable credit union regulations.
Experience with a Compliance Management System (CMS) and/or Enterprise Risk Management.
Experience working with examiners and auditors.
Strong analytical, investigative, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other technology platforms.
