Professional Degree
MD or DO degree from a US, Canadian or ECFMG - approved program.
Successful completion of a PGY-1 (clinical year) in a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
Experience must have included 11 months of direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
International graduates must have either a current valid certificate from ECFMG or a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a US licensing jurisdiction in which they are training.
Passage of Steps I, II, and III of the US Medical Licensing Examination (MDs) or COMLEX-USA (DOs).
