Before employment, successful completion of the Ishihara's color blindness test
Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers)
Military Training Network
Successful completion of Clinical Hemodialysis Technician national certification exam, within 18 months of hire when hired after October 14, 2008
Exam offered by BONENT or NNCC
Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends
Excellent communication skills
Computer skills
Ability to effectively work with multiple team members including working at/floating to other dialysis units
Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting
