2 years prior verifiable mechanical experience required
Perform preventative maintenance on all company vehicles and equipment
Perform service when needed on all company vehicles and equipment
Working knowledge of truck air systems and maintenance
Working knowledge of tank system plumbing and maintenance
Working knowledge of truck electrical system and maintenance
Occasional fabrication and metal work
Working knowledge of shop power tools
Organizational skills

Must have working knowledge of all basic shop tools/equipment
Service truck experience is a plus
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and/or move up 75+ pounds

Be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
Be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to assigned job tasks
Have a full range of mobility in upper and lower body in order to be able to work in various positions, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and walking for extended periods of time
Will work in all weather conditions
