Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
Proficient in SolidWorks 3-D design software or equivalent and experience performing Finite Element Analysis
Able to apply engineering principles to develop component and simple system designs to meet specifications
Familiar with various molding technologies including investment casting, die casting, injection molding and sand casting

Assure integrity of issued drawings, Bills of Material, and applicable engineering specifications such as ASTM, AISI, ANSI B31.1, API-675, and ANSI/HI 6.6
Obtain approvals as required with respect to certifying and regulatory agencies (UL, CSA, CE, NSF, ATEX)
