High School graduate, or equivalent.
Read and understand engineering procedures, drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
Have a basic knowledge of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
Capable of accurately using calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, hardness test equipment, and other precision variable gauges.
Capable of using a computer.
Capable of working independently, with minimal supervision.
