Electronic Component Assembler

Must be able to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and/or blueprints
Must be able to fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, adhesives, or other fasteners
Through-hole and surface mount soldering (training available)
Circuit board assembly and testing
Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
Must be able to manage time efficiently
Sit and stand for long periods of time
Constant lifting of 20-30 lbs, occasional lifting/moving of 50 lbs

Min High School Diploma or equivalent
2-year technical degree or equivalent experience at ALPLA or similar industrial
Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance Safety
Ability to read basic blueprints and schematics
Familiarity with power transmission systems and industrial controls
Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
Experience with programmable controllers
Knowledge of occupational math skills for measurements and calculations
Problem-solving and team collaboration capabilities

The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
