Experience with 13.2 volts, DC transformers from 12v to 1200v, 480 vac.
Knowledge of Red Lion controls preferred.
Must possess a basic understanding and ability to troubleshoot general mechanical systems such as Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Rotating Assemblies (bearings, & couplings, gears & gear trains, chains & sprockets, brakes & clutches, belts & pulleys).
Advanced mechanical and electrical knowledge, ability and aptitude.
Knowledge in troubleshooting and rebuilding various types of pumps, e.g. centrifugal, diaphragm, and piston pumps.
Knowledge of AC and reliance DC drives.
Basic Computer Skills
Experience with replacing motor brushes on 1600 hp DC motors down to 5 hp.
Knowledge of gas burners is essential.
Ability to use precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
Knowledge of Control Logix, Allan Bradley, Automax, Automate and Modicon.
Use of Fluke 289 multimeter (company provided), ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electric drawings and Blueprints.
Must be able to analyze and execute problem solving techniques.
Must have the ability to work in a team setting as well as be a self-starter that can multitask.
