In this position, you will be responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming shipments to ensure products are stocked, rotated, and ready for customers. This role helps keep the store running smoothly by maintaining an efficient and accurate backroom and sales floor.
Unloads daily deliveries safely and efficiently
Work in cold temperatures; lifting 8-32 pounds on average with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently
Schedule: Part time
Pay: $18 - $19 / hour
Rotate products following FIFO (first in, first out) practices to maintain freshness

Sort, organize and stage products in the appropriate storage areas

Sorts, organizes and prepares merchandise from receiving or the production areas to storage or to other designed areas, by part and quantity
Capable of safely operating equipment, such as forklift and pallet jack
Dispatch, confirm customer order and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents
Consistent and reliable attendance
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions and procedure manuals
Ability and willingness to drive safely, adhering to all company safety standards
Be able to lift 50 pounds
Ensure that customer orders are located, picked up and signed for
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in basic math skills
Delivery orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner
Create and maintain records as needed
