Must be Proficient in understanding and reading blueprints and WPS's.
3 - 5 years welding experience.
Must be able to obtain in-house structural welding certification.
Use of trades mathematics, together with the use of drawings, specifications, charts, tables, handbook formulas; all varieties of precision measuring instruments. Equivalent to completing accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft or occupation, or equivalent to a one-year technical college education.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must obtain certifications referenced above within 30 days of employment.
Must be certified or able to certify to ASME IX. This includes pressure vessel and pipe welding. GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG).
Must be familiar with ASME IX and AWS D1.1 welding codes.
