Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
Assists the Department Produce Manager with the successful operation of the department
Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services provided
Shared responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the department
Receives, stores and stocks a wide variety of products
Work directly with the Department Produce Manager in ordering product to meet the needs of the produce department based on past and projected sales
Pulls out of date product from the produce areas
Ensures company standards for safety, sanitation and productivity are maintained
Be active involved with teaching, mentoring and educating associates to help them be successful members of the team
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Department Manager and/or Store Manager
Consistent and daily interaction with store associates, customers, and vendors
Store : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)
Specialized Knowledge : Basic computer skills
Special Skills : Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions
