Electrician
Is a Lincoln Electric employee with at least 1 year of service
Is NOT on an active Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)
High school diploma/GED
3 years or more related experience
Work requires at least 2 years in electrical construction or maintenance, which may include time in an approved apprenticeship program, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Some industrial electrical experience and troubleshooting in both electrical circuitry and PLC is a requirement.
Willing to travel to customers' sites
Measurement skills (measuring tape, calipers, etc.)
Hand/power tool knowledge
Intermediate-Advanced Mechanical ability
A general knowledge of the Quality Program Manual
A general knowledge of WI-43
A general knowledge of Tennessee-Rand Equipment Build Standards
A general knowledge of Tennessee-Rand Technical Guidelines
A general knowledge of industrial drives, AC-DC power, electrical instrumentation,
DCS, industrial controls/DCS, DCS/PLC, control valves, blueprint schematic reading,
AC/DC schematics, electrical PLC, and general schematic layouts.
Be aware of OSHA codes and requirements
Be aware of safety and proper lifting and transporting heavy and oversize loads
Be proactive in continuous improvement methods
Maintain orderliness and cleanliness in the maintenance of equipment.
Follow directions and ensure a safe and high quality product and production environment
Have good verbal and written communication skills
Maintain a skills inventory score indicative of a level II or higher technician
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee is required frequently to work from ladders and scaffolds.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
