Minimum 5 years' experience in 3 axis CNC machining or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a U.S. person or protected individual within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines U.S. persons and protected individuals as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), U.S. Temporary Resident, Political Asylee or Refugee.
Proven experience as CNC Machinist/Programmer
Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
Ability to program and operate mill/lathe to create parts per engineering drawing
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
Computer savvy with strong understanding of computer programming
CAD/CAM, Inventor or MasterCAM experience required
Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
Ability to manage time and prioritize responsibilities
Able to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures
Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds
Able to occasionally move about in production areas as needed
High School Diploma or equivalent
Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb
May have possible exposure to dust, and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.
