Minimum 1-2 years' experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Blueprint reading skills
Shop math skills
Proficiency in the use of a wide variety of precision measuring tools are required
Ability to translate prints along with understanding of GD&T
The ability to setup and bore lathe jaws
Ability to set all tooling required for the job
Understand G&M; code with the ability to edit and write code at the machine when needed
Strong GD&T; and blueprint reading
Has their own hand tools. For example, wrenches, allen wrenches, dead blow hammer
Experience on Okuma lathes
Experience with Mill-Turn/Multi axis lathes.
