The Chemist in this position will work closely with one or more quality control technicians and will be responsible for analysis of a wide range of samples submitted by the Yazoo City Complex
This position requires 12 hour rotating shifts, mandatory overtime, and weekends
Bachelor's degree in chemistry from an A.C.S. accredited chemistry program is preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Presentation skills sufficient to communicate thoughts succinctly to Lab Supervisor and Operations managers
Bachelor's Degree in other physical science disciplines will be considered if strong evidence of laboratory analytical chemistry skill is demonstrated
Minimum of 1 year of Analytical Chemistry laboratory experience preferred
Excellent time management skills and be comfortable working in an environment where priorities change rapidly

Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification issued by American Welding Society
