Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
Courteously and accurately accept customer orders by phone, mail, and/or fax
Prepare written orders according to proper specifications
Verify customer orders for accuracy and create fabrication/shop orders
Verify the customer has an approved credit application and sufficient credit limit for the order
Customer service
Verify completed orders prior to shipping and escalate issues as needed
Notify customers of delays or issues and escalate conflicts when necessary
Primarily sedentary with occasional walking/standing
Process Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) and complete required documentation
Frequent computer and phone use
Coordinate with Accounting on credit issues
Occasional reaching/stretching
Provide pricing information using system knowledge
Report customer concerns to the Sales Representative
Clear communication and vision required
Promptly input orders in the computer system following ISO 9001-2000 guidelines
"bricklaying" (calculation of pieces of plastic modular belting to construct final product) and appropriate pricing

Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
Stand and walk for extended periods
Must wear required PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes

Experience operating both manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses
Fine hand manipulation and gripping for operating tools and precision instruments
CNC machining experience required
Tool & Die Associate's Degree or Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification required
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, precision measuring tools, and machining processes
